OceanFive Christian Label Signs Their Second Artist; Kayo Bracey.
A&R Director, Quinton Daniels officially signs his second Christian Hip Hop Artist to OceanFive CL. The newest artist, “Kayo Bracey” gets ready to release his first debut single under OceanFive Christian Label.
Dakota “Kayo” Bracey is a Christian Hip-Hop artist from Greensboro, NC.
As a youngster, Kayo could always be found freestyling at the lunch table or making tackles on the football field. He played collegiately at Morgan State University in Baltimore. After his playing career, Kayo focused on music full time.
He was voted as North Carolina’s New artist of the year, and Artist of the year (2x).
Bracey lists his influences as Canton Jones, KB, Lecrae and Hulvey.
“Music is my way to be a bridge to help others praise. It’s my way of giving a voice to the voiceless. It’s my way of making music for people that cannot relate to a lot of the current music that’s out. I just want to create art that brings people together through the love of Christ, no matter where they are in their current walk”

“Yo you know what’s wild? Bitcoin was only 5 cents a share 10 years ago, Now it’s over $66,000. If you could go back you would have probably put a lot of money into right? That’s how I feel about this label. The professionalism is next tier, and I really believe in the vision. We’re going to sow together and grow together. As an artist it’s so hard to find a team that not only believes in you but is willing to get their hands dirty with you. I’m grateful for the chance to work hand in hand with Q. What’s your goal as a signed Christian Artist?
“I just want to make music that helps people Praise God”, Bracey states. That’s the goal!”
