Born and raised in Chicago, IL, D-Jilla has carved his path in the Rap/Hip-Hop scene, blending Hip-Hop/R&B with his unique lyrical style. His early release, “Trust,” quickly became a fan favorite, known for its uniqueness and sound. D-Jilla's career reached new heights with the 2022 release of “Master Of None,” which garnered significant attention. This track caught the ear of Samahria Stewart, A&R Rep for OceanFive Records, leading to D-Jilla's signing in February 2025.
